Consultant Urological Surgeon, Greater Manchester and Cheshire Urology

Emma Foster graduated from The University of Bristol Medical school in 2009. She completed her Core surgical training in the West Midlands before Joining the North West Deanery for her Urology Specialist training. She gained her FRCS Urol. in 2017. She has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Salford Royal since 2018.

Her specialist interests include Functional, neuro-urology, reconstruction, Female Urology and Core Urology. Emma is the Lead for the North West Urology Sacroneuromodulation service.

Away from the clinical aspects of her job Emma is the consultant lead for Clinical Audit and Governance in the department, with an interest in Quality improvement. Emma is involved in Medical education, she participates in teaching, placement supervision, assessment and pastoral support of medical students. Emma is also involved in Post graduate medical education of junior doctors and allied professionals. She has completed Postgraduate Certificates in Medical Education and Medical Leadership.
